the garden this year is pretty dry - but things have started to do well with the last rain - the corn is staying short - ( ‘knee high by july’ is the saying, but it hasn’t grown much past that since it has been water deprived. I refuse to water a garden with well water - once I find somewhere permanent to live, I will definitely have a large rain collection system. Also i would avoid tilling to help preserve nutrient value / moisture.
